Officers work with community partner organisations to engage with and identifying habitual drug users and guide them towards supporting services, alongside investigating the supply of drugs and enforcement action. An aim of this is a reduction in thefts, begging and anti-social behaviour. We have recently arrested charged and remanded three of the main drug dealers operating in the area and they are currently on court bail pending upcoming crown court trial for PWITS, concerned in supply class A drugs and Proceeds' of crime offences.
